Made with fresh ginger, ceylon cinnamon, echinacea, elderberry and licorice root, this boost for the immune system is one way to stay on top of what ails you. Every Autumn, we start to make small batches of this herbal goodness and have it available for you. One teaspoon daily keeps the yuck away. There are contraindications for it's use, which we implore you to read - on the off chance it may affect you adversely.

While I do love that people are taking their health seriously, as do we, please keep these contradictions (do not use) in mind when using the immune booster. Its intended use is for someone fairly already healthy, to give added support. 1-2 tsp daily is a small amount, and its only for a few weeks or a month... so, that said small quantities of it taken daily should be just fine, but if you have any questions, your GP is going to be your default, not me. Do your own due diligence and research as well.
Licorice root: those with compromised liver conditions, congested heart failure, and pregnant women, severe asthma.
Echinacea: an autoimmune disorder (such as lupus), multiple sclerosis, human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) infection, acquired immunodeficiency syndrome, tuberculosis.
Ginger: severe acid reflux, those on blood thinners, clottting or bleeding disorders, Ginger is very suitable for those with a high level of blood sugar (including diabetics who manage the disease without medication), due to its natural propensity to lower one’s blood sugar levels. However, for those who are taking medication for diabetes – for example, Metformin or insulin injection, probably best to check with GP. .
Cinnamon: infants-2yrs old, possible interactions: liver disease, diabetes - in large quantities or prolonged use.
